Armor acquisition
I have seen a few threads about making it 'easier' to gain GW:EN armor, and came up with an idea myself. I am aware of the need for Reputation, and have no problems with that, as it fits well with the story. However, people with multiple accounts, characters, and goals have trouble attaining the ranks required to purchase the armor.
My idea is quite simple, and I believe it to keep with the story and idea of Reputation.
Currently you need rank 5 in a given Reputation title to be able to purchase armor. Leave that the way it is. Leave gaining reputation the way it is too. I simple think the addition of another way to buy the armor would work.
Since reputation is a matter of how 'known' and 'trusted' you are by a group, why not make characters who completed the PRIMARY quest and got the vision from the scrying pool the same as rank 5 title holders. Require the title to be worn, which means you must reach rank 1, but allow people to craft armor by completing the PRIMARY quest for that faction.
This would allow people to gain the armor faster and easier, but still require game play. It would also fit with the story, as when you complete the PRIMARY quest, the faction has decided to 'back you up'. This seems like they trust you, and that would imply a high reputation.
I'd appreciate thoughts on this, and ideas to improve it, but I see little trouble in making this work.
